SXM Festival has officially launched the countdown to its tenth edition with the first wave of artists confirmed for 2027.

The Caribbean electronic music gathering will return to Saint Martin and Sint Maarten from March 17 to 21, 2027, celebrating ten years with five days and five nights of music spread across multiple locations around the island.

Phase One already includes 31 artists, bringing together established international names and a new generation of house and electronic talent.

MEDUZA, Sasha, Bob Sinclar, Claptone, Guy Gerber, Dennis Cruz, Patrick Topping, Franky Rizardo, Dombresky, Matt Sassari and Max Styler are among the biggest names announced so far.

They are joined by Chelina Manuhutu, Deer Jade, Nico De Andrea, Mellizos, Tini Gessler, Pauza, Tom & Collins, Tony Romera and several others, with more artists still to be revealed.

What separates SXM from many traditional electronic festivals is its relationship with the destination itself.

Rather than operating from a single purpose-built festival site, the event uses multiple locations across the island. Beaches, clubs and other environments become part of a programme designed to move between daytime and nighttime experiences.

According to the festival, previous editions have attracted visitors from more than 58 countries, reinforcing SXM's status as an increasingly international destination event.

The musical direction of the first announcement is equally broad.

Sasha and Guy Gerber represent the deeper and progressive side of the spectrum. MEDUZA bring their globally recognised house sound, while Patrick Topping, Dennis Cruz and Max Styler add a stronger tech-house presence.

Bob Sinclar and Claptone provide another connection to the international house scene, giving the first phase a lineup capable of moving between underground club culture and wider festival audiences.

SXM Festival launched in 2016 and has gradually built its identity around the combination of electronic music, Caribbean landscapes and smaller-scale environments.

For its tenth edition, that concept appears ready for its biggest celebration yet.

And with this only being Phase One, the 2027 lineup is far from complete.
