Amnesia Ibiza is preparing one of the biggest closing events in its history as the legendary club brings its 50th anniversary season to an end on October 10.
The celebration will begin outdoors at 5 PM before continuing inside the venue through the night and into the following day. For the first time, Amnesia is transforming part of its grounds into an outdoor festival area, reconnecting the club with the open-air spirit associated with its earliest years. Amnesia Ibiza
Joseph Capriati will provide the sunset soundtrack, while the daytime programme also includes Groove Armada B2B Max Dean, Alisha B2B Julian Fijma, Kolter B2B Traumer and Luca Donzelli.
Once the event moves indoors, the musical direction becomes even broader.
The Main Room will lean toward techno and harder sounds with Nina Kraviz, Deborah De Luca, Klangkuenstler and others. The Terrace includes a series of B2B combinations, including Enzo Siragusa B2B Saoirse, Marco Faraone B2B Obskür and Max Dean B2B Sidney Charles. DJ Mag
The celebration will also introduce El Taller, a previously unused indoor area hosted by long-standing Amnesia residents Jason Bye, Les Schmitz and Franco Moiraghi. Amnesia Ibiza
Demand has already demonstrated the scale of the occasion. Amnesia says the indoor portion sold out in less than three hours before the line-up had even been announced. Amnesia Ibiza
Few venues have influenced Ibiza club culture across five decades.
For its 50th-year finale, Amnesia is not simply booking another closing party. It is combining its history, its resident culture and a new festival-scale format into a celebration designed to move from daylight to darkness and back again.
